The Ministry of Education CERNET Leading Group CERNET's leading policy-making body at the highest level, consisting of the Ministry of Education officials concerned. CERNET Administration Committee Made up of the Ministry of Education officials concerned and vice presidents in charge from the 10 universities, who are responsible for leading the construction of CERNET and making policies for important problems. CERNET Expert Committee Made up of specialists concerned from the 10 universities, who take up full responsibility for such technical tasks as that of general planning and design. CERNET National Network Center Located at Tsinghua, it is responsible for the operation and management of the national backbone and provides users with a variety of services including information resources services and high performance computing services. Regional Network Centers and Main Nodes Distributed among 10 universities, each regional network center or main node is responsible for the operation and management of the network center as well as the network planning and construtrion in the specific region where it lies.
